Benefits

What you get, in plain terms.

No packages, no tiers, and nothing you have to call someone to understand. Where a number is not settled yet, this page says so rather than guessing at it.

Pay & cadence

Every posting on this board shows its pay range before you apply — on the card, on the job page, and in the listing a job board picks up. You never have to ask what a role pays to find out.

Overtime past 40 hours in a week is paid at time and a half, as federal law requires. Our scheduling system computes the daily and weekly split from your actual punches, not from an estimate.

Your schedule

Your week is posted before it starts, in the same app you clock in on. You can see it on your phone, request time off there, and offer a shift to a teammate if something comes up — a manager approves the trade, and both sides see the result.

A shift is a wall-clock promise. Seven in the morning stays seven in the morning through a daylight-saving change, because the schedule stores the clock face, not an instant.

W-2, not 1099

Every role on this board is a W-2 position. Taxes are withheld, we pay the employer half, and you get a real pay stub. That matters if you have ever been handed a 1099 for yard work and told to sort it out yourself.

We do run some 1099 arrangements elsewhere in the business — freelance haulers and sales referrers — but those are not what is posted here, and we will always tell you which one you are being offered before you sign anything.

Equipment & training

Certifications for the equipment you run — forklift, baler, shear — are trained and signed off in-house, on the clock. You do not pay for a card to do your own job.

Personal protective equipment for your role is provided. What that includes depends on where you work; the hiring manager will walk you through the specific list for the position before you start.

Health & time off

Health, dental, vision, paid time off, and holidays vary by position and by how long you have been here, and we are not going to publish a number on this page that turns out not to match your offer.

Ask us in the interview and we will send you the actual plan documents and the accrual schedule for the role you applied to, before you decide. If you would rather have them first, email ultimaterecyclinginfo@gmail.com or call (270) 460-0421.

Moving up

We are two yards and a small crew, so there is no ladder to climb in the abstract — there are specific jobs, and people who learned them here. Sorting to forklift to baler. Yard to driver, once the CDL is in hand. Driver to dispatch.

Tell the hiring manager what you want to be doing in two years. If it is something we do, that conversation is worth having on day one rather than at a review.
