Cookie & Tracking Notice

1. Summary

Because we set no non-essential cookies, there is nothing here to consent to or opt out of, and we do not show a cookie banner. If that changes we will publish a new version of this notice and add a consent mechanism before setting anything new.

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes the personal information we handle more broadly.

2. Cookies We Set

On secure connections these cookies are prefixed with __Secure- and carry the Secure flag. Session and CSRF cookies are HTTP-only, meaning page scripts cannot read them.

3. What We Do Not Use

• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No third-party analytics, and no page-view or session-replay tracking.
• No social media pixels or share-button trackers.
• No cross-site profiling, and no data sold or shared with ad networks.
• No device fingerprinting.

We do record the IP address and browser user agent attached to a bid and to audited actions. That is a server-side security and fraud-prevention record rather than a cookie, and it is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Error Monitoring

We use Sentry to capture application errors so we can fix them. It is enabled only when we deliberately configure it, and when enabled it does not set a cookie and does not track browsing.

Sentry receives a technical error report — the error, a stack trace, the page it happened on, and browser details. Reports pass through a scrubber that strips payment details, authentication tokens, and secrets before anything is transmitted, and we disable Sentry's default collection of personally identifying request data.

5. Managing Cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the cookies in Section 2 will prevent you from signing in, since they are what carries your session and protects form submissions — there is no version of the marketplace that works without them.

You can browse the public marketing pages, the price list, and the public auction catalogue without signing in, and therefore without a session cookie.

Signing out clears your session cookie. Because we set no tracking cookies, there is no separate opt-out to exercise, and a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal has nothing here to act on.

6. Changes

If we introduce a cookie not listed above, we will update this notice with a new version and effective date. Where the new cookie is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent before setting it.
