Freelance Seller / Driver
Benton, KY · Temporary · 5 openings
About the role
Buy, collect, and list metal under your own account. A freelancer runs like an independent seller with our platform behind them: you get your own seller company provisioned at signup, you list what you collect, and what you earn is the commission your elected plan saves you on each sale. Independent contractor work — you supply your own truck and cover your own costs. There is no company vehicle and no draw on this one.
What you'll do
- Source and collect scrap metal on your own account
- List material on the marketplace accurately — grade, weight, photos, and location
- Meet pickup commitments on lots you list
- Handle your own transport, equipment, and insurance
- Keep your seller account in good standing, including verification
- Track your own income and expenses for tax purposes
What you need
- 18 or older, and able to work legally in the United States as an independent contractor
- Your own truck or trailer, or a reliable way to move material
- Ability to identify and grade common scrap material
- Willing to accept a 1099 and carry your own costs
- Existing scrap collection experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license and insurance
About Ultimate Recycling Inc.
Ultimate Recycling Inc. runs an online marketplace for industrial scrap, and the logistics that move it. A seller posts a listing, verified buyers compete on it, our drivers collect the lot, and the winning buyer takes it from our warehouse — without either side ever learning who they traded with. Everyone here works off that same record, so the load in front of you is the one the buyer, the seller, and the office are all looking at.
Equal opportunity
Ultimate Recycling Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status. If you need an accommodation to complete this application, email ultimateelectronicrecycling@gmail.com or call (270) 460-0421 and we will work it out with you.
