Getting Started
Signing up and account verification
Click 'Register' at the top of the site and choose your profile. For buyers, you will need a valid business license and tax ID (EIN). For sellers, the same parameters apply — we verify every commercial account before you can bid or create lot listings. Verification usually takes 1–2 business days.
Ultimate Recycling Inc. is a strict B2B marketplace. We require business verification to guarantee commercial integrity. This protects both sides: sellers know they are dealing with qualified, funded buyers, and buyers know the material originates from a legitimate industrial operation.
You will need to upload: (1) A copy of your active business license or corporate registration, (2) Tax ID document (EIN confirmation), and (3) Proof of company address (e.g. utility bill or commercial lease no more than 90 days old). All documents must be clear, legible images or PDF files.
No. Ultimate Recycling Inc. enforces absolute double-blind anonymity. Buyers and sellers never learn each other's identities, company names, or addresses. We broker the entire transaction, coordinate pickup, and route shipments through our facilities to keep details confidential.
Bidding & Auctions
Understanding the B2B bidding engine
Browse our active listings catalog, select a lot, and enter your bid amount. Your bid must satisfy the minimum required increment above the current bid. If you are outbid, you will receive an instantaneous push notification. You can bid as many times as you like until the closing window closes.
Congratulations! You will receive an immediate confirmation email and your payment is charged at that moment. The seller does not receive payment until our certified inspector verifies the material matches the listing in weight, grade, and quantity. If anything does not match, you receive a full refund and the seller is charged a penalty fee. Logistics dispatch coordinates carrier pickup within 1–3 business days.
No. Bids on Ultimate Recycling Inc. are legally binding. Retracting bids is not permitted. Once you place a bid, you commit to purchase the material at that price should you win. Please bid carefully.
This is the active time remaining in the auction. When the countdown hits zero, the auction closes and the highest bidder wins. Note that we enforce soft-close anti-sniping extensions: any bid placed within the final 5 minutes extends the countdown by an additional 5 minutes.
Absolutely! Click the heart (star) icon on any active auction card to save it to your Watchlist. You will receive real-time notifications about price shifts, bids, and soonest closing statuses, with no transactional commitment.
Buyer Contracts
Standing auto-bids that work while you're away
A buyer contract is a standing auto-bid. You pick a material and set a maximum price, and our system bids on your behalf — up to that ceiling — whenever a matching lot is up for auction. Think of it as a hands-off way to compete for the material you always want, without watching the catalog around the clock. You can keep one active contract per material.
We act immediately. The moment you save the contract, the system places your auto-bid on every live lot that matches your material. You do not have to wait for the next listing — if there is an open auction for that material right now, you are entered into it instantly at the lowest amount needed to compete (never above your max).
Yes. A contract fires on both current and future lots for its material. As soon as a new matching auction goes live — whether it's listed today or next month — your auto-bid is entered automatically. The contract keeps working on every qualifying lot until you pause it, set it to expire, or delete it.
No. Your max is a hidden ceiling, not your bid. The system uses eBay-style proxy bidding: it only raises your bid as far as needed to stay in front of competing buyers, and never goes above your maximum. Your ceiling is never shown to other buyers. If everyone else drops out below your max, you win at the lower competing price — not at your ceiling.
No. Lowering your maximum does not retract or claw back any bids the system has already placed on your behalf. The new, lower ceiling only applies to future bids — on the next round of bidding or on new lots that come up. Bids are binding once placed, so adjust your contract with that in mind.
On your Contracts page you can pause (deactivate) a contract at any time — that stops it from auto-bidding on new lots, though it does not retract bids already placed. You can also set an optional expiry date, after which the contract stops bidding on its own. The material on an existing contract can't be changed; to switch materials, deactivate the contract and create a new one.
Payments & Settlement
Security, payment processing, and seller payouts
The winning buyer is charged immediately upon auction close. The seller does not receive payment until the load has been picked up, inspected, and verified against the original listing — weight, grade, and quantity must match. If the material does not match, the buyer receives a full refund and the seller is charged a penalty fee.
We accept secure bank wire transfers, ACH transfers, and corporate credit/debit cards. All transactions are securely routed through our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We never store raw card numbers or bank credentials on our systems.
Notify us within 48 hours of delivery. If our inspector confirms the discrepancy, the seller payout is withheld, you receive a full refund, and the seller is charged a penalty fee. You only pay for what is actually verified and received.
Logistics & Delivery
Transit, scale tickets, and door drop-off
Ultimate Recycling Inc. coordinates the entire carrier pipeline. We dispatch vetted freight carriers, insure the cargo, and route shipments. Neither buyers nor sellers have to arrange third-party transport or handle shipping paperwork.
Sellers list pickup availability schedules during auction creation. Transport typically completes within 1–7 business days of auction close, depending on distance. You will receive active GPS tracking links and carrier status updates.
Yes! To keep bidding fair and transparent, the winning bid constitutes the final price for material at our regional hubs. Standard facility pickup is free. Door drop-off shipping rates are calculated transparently prior to checkout.
